By visiting thevastraedit.in or placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below. Please read them - they're written in plain language and won't take long.

The Vastra Edit is an online ethnic wear store based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. We sell directly to customers across India through our Shopify-powered website at thevastraedit.in.

Placing an order

  • By placing an order, you confirm that the details you've provided (name, address, phone) are correct

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order if there's a pricing error, stock issue, or if we suspect fraudulent activity - and we'll refund you fully in such cases

  • Order confirmation via email or WhatsApp does not always mean the item is confirmed - it is subject to stock availability

Pricing & payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of GST

  • We accept COD and Prepaid (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking)

  • Prices may change without notice - the price at the time of your order is what you pay

  • COD orders require payment to the delivery agent at the time of delivery

Products & accuracy

  • We do our best to show accurate product photos and descriptions

  • Slight color variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, and fabric dye batches - this is normal and not a defect

  • Fabric texture, embroidery placement, and print positioning may vary slightly from batch to batch

  • Size charts are provided as a guide - please measure yourself before ordering

Shipping & delivery

Shipping is handled as per our Shipping Policy. In short - we use Fship, ship across India, and estimated delivery is 5-7 business days for most locations. We are not liable for courier delays outside our control.

Returns & refunds

Returns and refunds are handled as per our Return & Refund Policy. Returns are only accepted for wrong or damaged products within 7 days of delivery.

What you should not do

  • Use our website for any unlawful purpose

  • Copy, reproduce, or use our product images, brand name, or logo without permission

  • Place fake or fraudulent orders - repeated offenders will be blacklisted and reported

  • Resell our products commercially without written approval from us

Our content belongs to us

All product photos, descriptions, branding, and content on thevastraedit.in belong to The Vastra Edit. Please don't use them without asking us first.

Limitation of liability

The Vastra Edit is not responsible for any indirect losses - missed occasions, emotional distress, or losses beyond the value of the product you ordered. Our maximum liability in any situation is limited to the amount you paid for that specific order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of courts in Rajkot, Gujarat. We always prefer to sort things out directly - please contact us first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The latest version will always be on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use our website after changes means you accept the revised terms.
